About Us:

We are located in the Greater Toronto Area, Toronto, Canada, and have combined talents and experiences in domestic and international hospitality and tourism, Caribbean specialisation, training and consulting, all funnelled through our passion for Apple products and services.

A bit about Sharon:

With a degree in hospitality and tourism management, and business management from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Toronto, and additional certificates in training and human resources, hospitality training from Florida International University and Cornell University’s Professional Development Programme), and ITT Sheraton’s Management Training Programme, Sharon’s earlier employment roles included operations, management and corporate roles in travel, restaurants, hotels, featuring sales and service, and especially, training and development.

These companies included Canadian Pacific’s Chateau Lake Louise, The Old Spaghetti Factory, The Keg Restaurants, The Sheraton Centre, Toronto and New York, The St. Regis (NYC - Closing Team), Sheraton Bal Harbour, Hilton International (Toronto, Windsor, Edmonton), Four Seasons Resort, Nevis, (Pre-Opening Team), Manchu Wok (Scott’s Hospitality), Cantel (Rogers Wireless) and Journey’s End/Choice Hotels Canada.

Sharon created three different training and consulting companies to meet the needs of training in various companies: Training Unlimited International, Hospitality Training and Island Training Unlimited. Client activities included: Training and Development (Needs Analysis, Strategic Planning, Design and Programme Delivery), Project Consulting and Mystery Shopping, and clients included: CN Tower, Toronto; SIR Corp Restaurants, Toronto; Sandy Lane Hotel, Barbados; Sandpiper and Coral Reef, Barbados; Cobblers Cove Hotel, Barbados; Escape Hotels, Barbados; CCS Technology (Illuminate), Barbados; Starwood Hotels (NYC;, Ontario Tourism Education Corporation, Toronto; Tourism Toronto; Holiday Inn, Toronto; Derlan Industries (aerospace), North America; Xerox Canada; Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, (Corporate-Toronto); Four Seasons Resort, Nevis; Delaware North Corporation, North America; Swissotel Krasnye Holmy, Moscow; Parks Canada Agency, (Ottawa); The Perfect Blue, Perth, Australia, and others.

In the early 2010s, Sharon created Black Sand Digital, an eBook and print publishing company, to service the needs of the luxury tourism industry. Black Sand Digital Clients have included: SunGroup Hotels, Barbados; Cap Maison, St. Lucia; Marine Megafauna Foundation, Mozambique; Jim Byers, Canada’s Travel Guy, Toronto; Greg Philips, Nevis Sun Tours.)

We are dedicated creatives that produce both print and digital eBooks, for Apple Books via iPads, iPhones and Macs.  We meld the worlds of learning/training, marketing, learning, creativity and technology into one to provide you with fabulous interactive eBooks and gorgeous printed options, for your most loyal of guests and visitors, as well as enticing future visitors, engaging your audience with interactivity and wow!
